Our online booking will handle all your new appointment, cancelling exisiting appointments, rescheduling ALL appointments. The front desk has not been filled in months and we are relying on you the client to MANAGE ALL ACCOUNTS VIA VAGARO. We ask all our new and any color clients to please send photos of their curls and book right online, UNTIL we see your photos AND your forms need to be updated before we cannot accept the appointment request. This is time sensitive to when you are booking this appointment and we need promt response.

If you are trying to reach Moisture Salon after scheduled hours to cancel, make or change an appointment we are relying on you to manage your account on your end and within policies. The system is very user friendly and will help our staff enjoy our time off from the salon.

NEW CLIENTS: Please send a current photo of your curls to our email and let us review your photo prior to scheduling the service. We want to ensure everyone is booking the right amount of time for each service. This appointment is a request- please wait for an approval prior to taking off time from work or other engagements. We ask everyone to please arrive for your appointment at least 5 minutes early to pay for parking, due to sanitation we are on a tight schedule and want to keep everyone safe.

ALL CANCELLATIONS: Must be done on your end through Vagaro. We require all clients to manage their own appointments especially outside business hours.
How to cancel: Log into Vagaro (you should have all your log in information in your email, as we send out each client’s email and password each week) press CANCEL or REBOOK. If you are unable to cancel on your own a cancellation fee will be charged.

Moisture Salon is the Capital Districts Premier Curly Hair Salon, established in 2013, located at 158 Barrett Street, Schenectady, NY. We cater to all types of curls, waves, and super curly hair. We specialize in curls - that's all we do! Owner and Curl Expert, Ron Suriano is a Curly Hair Educator of his Signature Cut called The 4C’s is a technique he has perfected by creating unique methods for each curl type sitting in his chair. It isn’t one size fits all with the same cutting methods used on each client. Ron created his artistry from his former training at Devachan where he learned the original cutting method taught by Deva Curl. While he is a Deva Certified Curl Specialist where he differs with his method is the Signature Cut called The 4C’s cut(Custom, Creative, Curly Cut).
Ron has been traveling across the globe for the past four years, educating stylists in Australia, Cuba, Mexico, Newfoundland Canada and twice in Brazil. In addition, Ron is teaching locally for The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center, EOC in Troy and Capital Region Boces. As of 2019, Ron received his certification as an Innersense Organic Beauty Brand Educator.

Our online booking system allows you to manage your appointments. Kindly scroll to the bottom of this page and follow the link to book an appointment. You will create a user name and password, simply follow the instructions. A credit card is required to establish an account, on file with our Credit Card Processing Company. Once you have established your account and schedule an appointment, please email a photo of your hair to moisturesalon158@gmail.com. Our stylists will want to make sure the proper service has been scheduled, in addition see the condition of your hair prior to your appointment. If any questions or issues with your online account, please feel free to call the salon.
***Moisture Salon also has a new Addition to the Salon. Her name is CeeCee. Our little mascot CeeCee is normally in the salon during business hours. If anyone is uncomfortable being around a dog, please let us know and we can bring her upstairs during your service. She is a hypo allergenic Golden doodle so she sheds minimal for those that may be allergic**
